Due to unplanned sickness and isolation of our team, we are currently working on a reduced workforce. This means we are experiencing high call volumes at the moment due to limited staffing paired with changes to eConsult. We really appreciate your patience at this time, our team will be with you as soon as possible. 

If you need to contact your GP please continue to contact your practice by phone or online to begin with. You will be assessed and offered a phone or video appointment, or a face to face appointment if you need one. The majority of common conditions can be assessed and diagnosed by your doctor by telephone or video consultation. They are experienced and skilled in doing this.

 

We would like to respectfully ask you to be understanding of the pressures facing all NHS services, including GP practices, despite the easing of Government restrictions.

 

If you are asked to come into the surgery for a face-to-face appointment, please remember to wear a face covering. If you have a disability or condition which means you cannot wear a face covering or cannot communicate with someone who is wearing a face mask, or require other adjustments before your appointment, please let the surgery know ahead of your arrival.

We are no longer accepting eConsultations for medical/clinical queries.  If you would like advice about a condition you may have (such as back pain, mental health concerns etc) or if you would like general advice about symptoms (such as tiredness, bleeding, pain or weakness) then please contact your practice site to book a telephone triage appointment with a clinician.

All requests to see a clinician will be triaged via telephone in the first instance and you may have your query managed remotely or you may be offered an on the day appointment or a routine appointment which will be on a future date.  The clinician will advise the most appropriate action and agree a management plan with you.

Please call the practice for any administration queries, such as sick notes, requests for medical examination, blood tests etc.

We accept registrations from anyone living within our practice boundary and, in certain circumstances, from patients living outside our area, for example people commuting in to Knowsley.

The primary method of accessing services is by submitting an eConsultation. Many things can be dealt with without the need for a trip to the practice, and for those things that do, we can use your eConsultation to make sure you see the right person, in the right place, at the right time.
